ECG Releases New Timetable for “Dumsor” Affecting Labadi, Teshie and Notable Areas

Electricity Company of Ghana in collaboration with Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has released a new timetable for its load shedding which began some weeks ago.

According to them, it is to facilitate the work of contractors who are working on a reconstruction of a section of GRIDCo’s 161kV Winneba to Mallam transmission lines and tie-in works. In view of this, Electricity Company of Ghana has scheduled a power outage for intended communities and organizations in Accra. These communities have been categorized into three groups: Group A, Group B and Group C. The outage in power supply is expected to last for sixteen (16) days from Thursday, May 27 to Friday, June 11 2021 between the hours of 6:00pm to 12 midnight.

The affected groups and outage schedule are as follows:

Group A

Cantonments, Golden Tulip, Alliance Française, Osu RE, Abelemkpe, Awudome, Kaneshie Market, Sampa Valley, Tetegu, Banana Inn, Abease, Gbawe Top Base, Mataheko, Glefe, Akuko Photo, Wesley Grammar, Teshie Maamli, Teshie Composite Plant, Agblezaa, Yomo Specs, Labadi, Nanakrom, Marteytsuru, Airport Hills, Max Mart, Otanor, Zoomlion, Ashale Botwe Old Town.

Group B

Nima, Tesano, Dzorwulu, Roman Ridge, Airport Residential Area, Bubiashie, Dansoman SSNIT Flats, Ayigbe Town, Bulemi, Agape, Gbegbeyisee, Agegee, West Hills Mall, Sunda Factory, Kokrobite, Bortianor, Westland, Haatso, Greda Estates, Kisseiman, Obideben, Regimanuel Estates, Tse – Addoman, Legon Hills, Little Roses.

Group C

Kotobabi, Abavana, Mamobi, Pig Farm, Cable and Wireless, Bubiashie, North Kaneshie, El Wak Barracks, Cantonments Post Office, Trinity House, Aplaku, Dansoman Control Market, Weija Old Barrier, Russia, Sukura, Osofo Dadzie, Gbawe, Oblogo, Djaman, Manet Gardens, Frimpongmaa Estate, Sraha, East Legon, Ajorman, Airport Residential Area, Teshie Tebibiano, La Beach Hotel, La Palm Beach Hotel, Katamanso, Oshiyie, Achimota School.
